Job Description

In the field of (Human Resources) in (Northville, MI), we are looking for you to strengthen our team as soon as possible as a (Receptionist).

SUMMARY:

Perform diversified and advanced secretarial/administrative functions and related administrative services for the Human Resources Department, as well as all departments as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Answer telephone and provide information to callers or route call to appropriate individual; place outgoing calls as requested by management.
  • Greets all visitors and notifies the appropriate contact.
  • Maintain/manage visitor log.
  • Attends to administrative duties as needed within the HR department
  • Assist with new hire-onboarding and orientations.
  • Create and issue new employee and visitor badges
  • Maintains files, sorts mail, and updates records for one or more Managers.
  • Make copies and/or transparencies for correspondence or other printed matter.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
  • EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years of office or administrative work required. Human Resources experience preferred
  • Ability to stand or sit at a desk for long periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
