Job Description

Seeking an experienced mechanisms / electromechanical designer with experience with the Design, Development and Manufacture of Aerospace products including; Actuators, Gimbals, Solar Array Drives, Linear actuators, Hinge systems, Electronics Packaging and Release Mechanisms. Working knowledge of telemetry products including, potentiometers, encoders, and resolvers is preferred. Designers provide electromechanical models and detailed drawings for piece parts, assemblies, wiring diagrams, ICD's, and support the integration efforts. This candidate will work in both a development engineering and production environment. Design support of components, subassemblies, and systems. Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools including; SolidWorks, NX, Keyshot and AutoCAD. The candidate will support trade studies, perform tolerance stack calculations, and support design development from concept to released drawings. Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and material and planning groups.
