Job Description

The Lease Revenue Analyst reviews and processes chargeback requests and security deposits disposition upon resident move-out. Reviews portfolio performance for revenue predictions and troubleshoots irregularities regarding resident financial transactions.

The essential job functions include:

  • Retrieves submitted Move-Out Refund Forms (MORF) from database and reviews in order to verify deposit accounting, including coding and amounts before processing security deposit disposition.
  • Performs data entry, validation and management of chargeback documents related to tenant accounts.
  • Reviews and processes charge adjustments on individual tenant ledgers as needed.
  • Performs research and reviews tenant ledger questions related to charges.
  • Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required, and complies with relevant legal mandates; seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by the Director of Resident Operations.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by the Revenue Manager.

  • Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; college level accounting classes or Accounting Degree preferred
  • 4-6 years hands-on accounts receivable, credit and collections experience required
  • Solid mathematical background
  • Some experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems
  • Experience with Yardi or OCR software strongly preferred
