Job Description
  • This position is located on-site in Columbia, S.C.
  • Responsible for health care sales, service and administrative activities and relationship management to prospective and existing accounts.
  • Customarily and regularly engaged in outside sales.
  • Job RequirementsRequired Education

    • Bachelor's degree, OR

    • Four years of related health care marketing/account management experience.
    Required Work Experience

    • Seven years of health care insurance/program management experience.

    • Two of the seven years must have been in a direct sales and marketing role.
    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Knowledge of sales principles and techniques.

    • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and make sound decisions.

    • Good judgment.

    • Effective customer-service, presentation and organizational skills.

    • Analytical or critical-thinking skills.

    • Basic business math proficiency.

    • Microsoft Office skills.

    • Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire in state employed.
