SUMMARY- the Infusion Sales Representative ensures achievement of sales and profit goals for targeted accounts. These accounts include, but are not limited to: managed care, hospitals, discharge planners, and/or physicians. Also, provides sales and service support to those targeted accounts by coordinating existing services and evaluating and implementing new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Attends work on a regular and predictable basis
  • Brings in new accounts and services existing accounts with a goal of optimizing sales and profits.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the account and the company to assure customer satisfaction
  • Performs all phases of sales activities for accounts including, but not limited to analysis of needs, opportunities, presentation of Company's services, pricing and negotiation of agreements and follow-up as needed.
  • Coordinates and supports team efforts at the company, maintaining a working relationship with all departments, with a goal of assuring 100% patient and referral source satisfaction.
  • Identifies and cultivates new opportunities that will lead to an increase in referral sources
  • Prepare for and participate in trade shows, exhibits and advertising campaigns.
  • Conducts in-service for referral sources educating them in the use and application of Lincare equipment
  • Initiate resolution to complaints from referral sources with the appropriate management.
  • Provides sales reports that are thoughtful, completed thoroughly and submitted on time as requested, to managers
  • By conducting frequent physician office follow-up visits, the infusion sales specialist assists the center with the assurance that all necessary patient care documents are completed accurately and thoroughly , have the appropriate signatures, and are sent to RBCO for billing and collections activities in a timely fashion to meet state and federal regulations
  • Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA and Emergency Planning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE -A 2 or 4-year degree in marketing, business admissions or healthcare and/or previous sales experience is preferred. Must possess knowledge of basic selling skills, have a general understanding of insurance reimbursement and accounting practices. Ideal candidate has excellent human relations skills to interface with doctors, hospital administrators and department heads. Must be computer literate. This job requires extensive driving so must possess a valid driver's license. Must have exceptional customer service skills with exceptional oral and written ability and be able to speak to large groups.
