Kleinfelder is currently seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer with 5-10 years' experience in our Rocky Hill, CT office. Kleinfelder is excited to announce that our Water team is growing. This role is key to the future success of our team! The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering services in our team-oriented environment providing local municipal and state clients with professional engineering services for water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure improvements and stormwater management.
Responsibilities would include:
Performing Field Investigations
Technical Report Writing
Performing Hydraulic Calculations
CAD design of Contract Drawings
Preparing Technical Specifications
Estimating Project Costs
Federal, State and Local Permitting
Bidding and Construction Administration services
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
Engineer-in-Training certification is required. Professional Engineering Registration in CT or MA is preferred.
Prior engineering consulting experience working with local municipal and state clients is preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation and/or ArcGIS is preferred.
