Job Description The Nursing Assistant performs tasks related to delivery of health, personal cares and activities for the residents that reside at Custer Regional Senior Care under the supervision of a licensed (RN/LPN) nurse, to promote optimal health, comfort and maintain functional ability while contributing to the overall rehabilitative goals and objectives as outline in the resident plan of care and in accordance with nursing home polices, competencies and standards as well as the State and Federal guidelines.

Ability to work independently.

Excellent interpersonal skills needed to be able to handle a diversity of personalities and interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

With in the first 120 days of employment, you are required to have taken the certified nurses aide course and pasted the state written and skills test.

Physical Demands: Heavy Work
Lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Heavy Work-Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements exceed those for medium work. Work Hours: PRN - as needed
