The Security Valet Associate parks vehicles on campus lots. Supports and enforces parking policies as required by policy and under the direction of Security.

Job Description Details:

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
  • Must maintain current Idaho Driver's license with no moving violation.
  • Previous valet experience and / or customer service experience preferred.
  • Able to operate motor vehicle, both manual & automatic transmission.
  • Some basic computer skills required.
  • Able to interact on daily basis with public in regard to safety, visitor control, thefts, and parking policy enforcement.
  • Possesses exceptional customer service skills.


  • Essential Functions:
  • Meets Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations.
  • Parks vehicles on SAMRC campus lots without causing damage to grounds and/or vehicles.
  • Reports vulnerable situations, hazards, and/or equipment malfunctions to the proper department or for immediate action.
  • Supports and enforces parking policies on campus as required by policy and under the direction of Security.
