We have an immediate opening on 3rd shift, working 10 PM to 6 AM. As a quality team member, your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Perform first piece inspection and approval prior to a production run.
  • Perform gauge calibrations, update procedures, control plans and work instructions.
  • Perform in-process and final product validation through the application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products.
  • Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulation of data.
  • Compile and write training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Proofread and approve certifications generated for outgoing product and services.
  • Perform incoming inspection for products processed outside, such as heat treat, plating, etc.
  • Perform internal product and process audits.
  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 - 5 years experience in quality operations in a manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Basic knowledge of GDET, DRER, FMEA and other core tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Desired but not required - accreditation as an ASQ Certified Quality Technician.
