The Physical Therapist Asst. – Home Health is responsible for modeling the 3 Company values of Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence, and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the Program, between the Program and other Company departments, and between the Program and all external stakeholders. The Physical Therapist Asst. – Home Health is responsible for providing medically prescribed, goal oriented therapy in accordance with the Physician Plan of Care, company policies and professional Standards of Practice.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Education and/or Experience
Currently licensed in state of practice. Minimum one year experience in a home health setting.
Ability to successfully complete competency evaluation program. This includes a written and a skills evaluation. Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information such as patient records. Must be able to travel.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance. Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in state of practice.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be able to tend the geriatric and the terminally ill.
