As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will perform all physical therapy procedures planned and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the plan of care.
This will involve assisting clients in basic daily living activities and instructing them, their family, and other team members in specialized motor or self-help activities for the proper use of assistive equipment, prosthetic devices and adaptation devices, as well as evaluating the home environment to make appropriate recommendations

This will involve supplying physical therapy services in their home as prescribed by a physician, and evaluating the client's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities test.
We are seeking a reliable Physical Therapist Assistant who combines exceptional clinical knowledge and skills necessary to perform all procedures as outlined, with the ability to contribute as a team member and work under supervision. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to positively adapt to change. Furthermore, it is important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as a strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
Specific qualifications for this home health role include:
A Physical Therapist Assistant must be a graduate of a physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. A qualified Physical Therapist Assistant will have one (1) year of experience in providing Physical Therapy services to clients or as required by state law. A Physical Therapist Assistant must be certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the state in which practicing, as applicable. Auto liability insurance and a current and unrestricted driver's license is required.
