TCG is seeking a Digital Content Writer for an 18 month, onsite assignment! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working alongside Creative Writers and Art Directors to extend a brand's look, tone and feel into writing clear and compelling content, including but not limited to: website articles, product descriptions, promotional copy, eCRM copy, blog entries, and as well as additional content as required by clients. Leverage existing product campaign language and optimize according to SEO, web and social media best practices as well as specific outlined objectives. Write new content for paid advertising including social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.) with an emphasis on implementing call-to-action strategies. Creative problem solving skills are critical to this position, as the Content Writer will be responsible for taking into account consumer insights and SEO best practices while ensuring copy remains legally compliant. EXPERIENCE (YEARS/TYPE): • 1 + year(s) of related work/internship experience • Strong writing and editing skills, along with the ability to match the tone, style, and format standards of Nestle Purina assigned brands. • Working knowledge of SEM/SEO and meta data • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to produce content against a complicated content matrix, schedules and processes. Must be able to handle several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work as a team • Unceasing attention to detail, quality assurance, and follow-through • Understanding of social media and video channel best practices relevant to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube • Working knowledge of the strategic approach of using both brand messaging and user generated content such as ratings and reviews • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel • Be able to work within Website templates and write to specific character counts, etc. Preferred: • Familiar with Content Management Systems and how Websites are constructed into template forms which limit length of copy, etc. • Familiar with standard project management tools for time management and team collaboration • Basic understanding of HTML and other front-end development languages to aid in technical conversations is a plus Qualified candidates please submit your resume and portfolio to Claire: [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
