Job Description

-Collection representatives work in a call center environment and work off of a dialer system with inbound & outbound calls. (120 calls per day)
-Work off of multiple computer screens & systems
Collect on past due student loans in the early stages of delinquency(1-60 days).
-Contacts customers to determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment by placing outbound calls
-Negotiates repayment plans.

-1 year of customer service experience (open to any industry)
-Must be OK "collecting" and asking/negotiating with people to make payments. However remember that this is early collections of only 1-60 days past due so clientele calling on will not be that hard.
-Must type 30 wpm on typing test.
-Needs to pass an assessment.

Hours: Training: M-F, 8:00-4:30 for 5 weeks (classroom, shadowing, side-by-sides, and a transition period)

Hours: Monday - Thursday (2 days are 8:30-5:00 and 2 days are 12:30-9:00) Fridays 8:30am-5:00pm

*Every 4th Saturday and 1 day off during the week

Pay: $12/hour
