Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Engineer is to manage the activities of their assigned market (industry or geographic area). Regional Sales Engineers will coordinate and support the efforts of Field Sales with target and existing customers in all aspects of customer management, solution selling, proposal generation, and documentation, as outlined in the Order Creation Process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Pricing / Quoting Standard & Special Items;
* Technical inquiries / clarifications;
* Managing customer inquiries related to sales maters;
* Quoting annual business quotes large / significant customers;
* Issuing significant quotes, following up and negotiating ensuring successful closure;
* Evaluating / qualifying customers to determine Spirol's full potential
* Quarterly Sales Analysis

The Regional Sales Engineer role is critically important to ensuring the success of the Field Sales team, primarily by referring qualified customer leads to the Field Sales organization for active in-person advancement and by championing projects internal to Spirol operations. Coordinate the activities of the Field Sales effort to enhance and effectively achieve specific sales objectives.
Provide technical expertise, assistance and coordination of sales projects to the Field Sales staff through all phases of the Order Creation process including the initiation of A-orders, generating technical reports and commercial proposals, distribution of catalogs and sample requests per company policy and procedures.
Completion of order review and resolving routine non-conformances or assigning to the appropriate personnel.
Generates and execute eMarketing campaigns within assigned market/industry or geographic area in support of sales development.
Works closely and collaboratively with Customer Service to ensure the highest level of customer responsiveness, and customer support in sales related matters.
Support Field Sales Engineers as necessary to validate potential new business.
Ensure that customers receive timely responses and customer support commensurate to achieving outstanding customer service.
Travel to visit customers as needed.

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High degree of computer literacy.
