Job Description

Responsible for all aspects of maintenance required to maintain the interior and exterior of the community.  Responsible for ensuring the safety of our residents.

    Recommended hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, eight hours daily.  Required to be “on call” 24 hours a day, seven days per week, on a rotating schedule with other maintenance staff.

    Required Education, Knowledge and Skills

    1.         Prior experience preferred

    2.        Carpentry skills

    3.         Maintenance knowledge

    4.         Painting knowledge

    5.         Plumbing knowledge

    6.         Electrical knowledge

    7.         Drywall and vinyl repair skills

    8.       Ability to work in the heat

    9.       Professional demeanor

    10.       Treats all information regarding the community, business or residents as confidential

    11.       Strong desire to improve the lives of seniors and an embracement of the Senior Star corporate mission and philosophy

    Job Requirements
