Registered Nurse - Coordinator (Outpatient Clinic)


Position Type:   Non Exempt (Hourly - eligible for overtime compensation).

Work Schedule:  M-F Days (Full Time) 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

*Coordinates the outpatient clinicoperations and provides direct nursing care to psychiatric outpatients. 

*Assesses patients for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort, andsafety needs. 

*Supports and coaches clinic staff. 

*Ensures appropriate patientflow, medical record organization, and medication reconciliation. 

*Clinic servicesinclude general outpatient medication management, Intensive Outpatient Program,and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). 

*The Nurse Coordinator provides criticalsupport for the psychiatrists and nurse practitioners who perform theseservices.
 
Job Requirements*Requires a RN, fromaccredited school of nursing.  Psychiatricclinic experience preferred. 
 
*Must maintain StateRegistered Nurse license, CPR certification. Basic arrhythmia course completion. ACLS/PALS certification provided upon hire.
 
*Currentcertification in Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention.   If not certified at time of hire, willobtain certification within 90 days.
 
*This positionrequires that you drive a facility owned vehicle or your own vehicle.  A current state of Idaho driver’s license isrequired.  If relocating to Idaho fromanother state, you must obtain a current Idaho driver’s license within 90 daysof making Idaho your permanent state of residence. If you are not a permanentresident of Idaho you must have a valid driver’s license from the state inwhich you permanently reside.  Inaddition, if you will be driving your own vehicle 2 or more times per week forcompany related business, documentation of proof of liability insurance must beprovided.    Liability insurance musthave a combined single limit of at least $300,000 or have $100,000/$300,000coverage split. This position is subject, upon hire and annually, to an MVRreport/analysis and driver safety education.
