This position provides analytical, research and project coordination services to the CEP Chief Transformation Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Physician Directors, as well as the MedAmerica Program Development Team. Requests include development of ad hoc surveys, research, data collection, project coordination, etc. This position supports the development and implementation of new projects aimed at improving the quality, performance, and operations along the Acute Care Continuum.  Duties include providing project planning, management, and implementation of new and existing performance and quality improvement programs.

Primary Responsibilities

Healthcare Analysis & Program Development Analysis                

  • Analyzes and draws insightful impressions from objective data, "human intelligence" and other forms of investigation to identify process and organizational issues in need of improvement.
  • Responds directly to ad hoc requests from CEP America Directors
  • Analyzes performance data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement for developing CEP practice lines, including but not limited to the development of Telehealth, Psychiatry, Neurology, Complex Care and CMS Innovation Programs
  • Project Management – Innovative and Operational Analytical Projects                                                                         

  • Works with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and practice management consultants to support the development and implementation new programs, from concept to delivery. Analyzes the impact and success of these programs.
  • Working with physicians, workgroups and committees, develop necessary supporting materials (e.g. manual, training modules, curriculum, etc.) to support the program.  Pilot & evaluate impact of program in meeting the defined objectives of the program.
  • Responsible for research and implementation of practice improvement tools and for updates and revisions of standard client-developed programs.
  • Project Management – Healthcare Innovation                                                                                                                    

  • Works closely with Program Managers and Physician Directors to track and manage new and innovate programs for the enterprise. This includes supporting the development of programs from their infancy through rapid cycle evaluation and redesign.
  • Assists the Program Manager and Program Development Team with data collection, validation, and utilization of organizational data to improve healthcare programs.
  • Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent. 
  • Healthcare or healthcare based or relevant experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project managing healthcare related projects.
  • Knowledge of program development and project management concepts preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written. 
  • Strong project management skills required. 
  • Exceptional Data analysis and interpretation and visualization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work to deadlines on multiple projects, and to work as a team member in a collaborative and participatory manner, and to interact both in person and over the phone with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Required skills: expertise in Windows environment with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Excellent phone skills, and customer service orientation. Ability to take precise minutes.
  • Experience in healthcare, with physicians, and in a service industry is preferred.
  • Important professional characteristics include ability to balance/ prioritize tasks and projects, a high degree of innovation, problem recognition and creative problem solving, integrity, flexibility, communication with a wide range of professionals and ability to facilitate teamwork.
