The Office Coordinator is responsible for secretarial and clerical duties for the Physical Rehab department and communicates clearly and effectively with patients, sales representatives, all levels of Hospital Management and Medical Staff. Major responsibilities include handling confidential information, patient registrations, insurance verification, charge reconciliation for the whole therapy service line, timekeeping for Center for Advanced Wound Healing & Physical Rehab, revenue codes on accounts, and conducting reminder calls. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS St. Patrick Health System and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Typing 35 wpm required
  • One year of office or clerical experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form with patients, families, and physicians
  • Must possess excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy required.
