Job Description Position Summary
WESTMED Medical Group is currently seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Cardiology department at the White Plains, New York office location. The NP/PA will perform nuclear stress testing, treadmill stress tests, device checks, and patient visits. Mornings will be in the nuclear lab conducting the stress test portion and device checks, both by phone and in person, completed in the afternoon. This position will work in collaboration with up to 7 physicians, another nurse practitioner, and the nuclear tech in the department. Position schedule is Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm and Thursday afternoons will be at the Rye, New York office location. 

Required Qualifications
Job requirements include but are not limited to:
  • Current NYS NP/PA License
  • Board Certification required
  • Cardiology Experience is strongly preferred
  • Competency in Nuclear Medicine stress testing lab, working with Lexiscan and Dobutamine/IV drug administration
  • ACLS/BLS Certified
  • IV Skills
  • Experience with stress testing
  • Pacer and defibrillator interrogation experience preferred
  • Good computer skills
  •     Recent Graduates welcome
