The BSC will work closely with employers, job seekers, community organizations, & staff to coordinate job fairs, recruitment events & community outreach efforts. Responsibilities• Develops and disseminates information about Workforce Center Services. Coordinates outreach/ marketing activities to the community• Develops and maintains detailed knowledge of the local labor market in order to develop a wide variety of job opportunities for customers• Works with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives. Assists employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants• Maintains a current listing of local job opportunities, keeps project staff apprised of business needs and job placement opportunitiesRequirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Proven track record of building and maintaining business partnerships • Knowledgeable of business, community and current economic environment• Knowledge of effective marketing and community outreach techniques and strategies• Strong interpersonal skills and writing abilities• Strong organizational/administrative skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with people from diverse cultures and customsBenefits
