Job Description Grade:

To chauffeur authorized guests and executives as directed by Limo Dispatch or management. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Front Services and Transportation Department.
  • Provides positive service standards to include but not limited to courtesy, sincerity, and enthusiasm.
  • Picks up keys and radio at the beginning of scheduled shift and then turns them in at the end of the shift
  • Notifies a supervisor immediately of any safety/maintenance issues with their assigned limo
  • Fills out a driver trip sheet daily
  • Logs and reports all necessary repair or maintenance vehicle report sheet at the end of their shift
  • Keeps the assigned limo fuel tank is kept full while driving and is returned with ¾ tank of fuel at the end of the shift
  • Keeps Dispatcher informed of location at all times.
  • Answers calls from dispatch and management on radio
  • Brings any rotation, maintenance issues, or safety issues to the attention of a supervisor immediately
  • Provides exceptional service as approved by management
  • Follows the proper chain of command and abides by the company and departmental handbook
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by management
  • All drivers must operate in a safe, efficient and courteous manner at all times.
  • Drivers are responsible for checking to ensure all proper licenses, insurance and registration paperwork in vehicle before driving it. 
  • Drivers are responsible for interior and exterior cleanliness of assigned vehicle while on shift and must follow all departmental policies.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or equivalent and one year vehicle maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.



    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement 

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills Required
  • Must be able to work as a team or on a individual basis
  • Must have a polished appearance and professional presentation
  • Must be able to speak clear English
  • Frequently sitting and using eye/hand coordination.
  • PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly sitting, listening, speaking, and paying attention to detail.
  • Constantly utilizes manual dexterity, handling, wrist motion, sitting, and reaching.
  • Constantly bending/stooping lifting, carrying, and pushing.
  • Constantly reaching, throwing, and lifting up to 75 lbs., carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasionally kneeling.


  • WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work performed indoors and outdoors, Employee may be exposed to fumes, odors, and hot and cold temperatures. Employee will be required to sit for long periods of time and to stand on cement floors and to occasionally walk on uneven surfaces. Employee may be exposed to secondhand smoke.     WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

    Regular scheduled hours. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.
