Job Description

Job Summary:

Ensures the company's subcontractor hiring plans are achieved through selection and attraction of qualified candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develops and implements recruitment strategy for subcontractors by:

  • Identifying creative methods of sourcing.
  • Creating and following a six month calendar of recruitment activities that includes identifying new methods of sourcing each month.
  • Planning recruitment efforts to hire according to forecast needs.
  • Builds and maintains a subcontractor recruitment funnel by:

  • Utilizes CRM candidate tracking system for all candidate contacts
  • Developing relationships with qualified subcontractors and maintaining frequent communication.
  • Researching and utilizing networking opportunities.
  • Coordinates the interview process by:

  • Conducting the initial screening for qualification and determining if second interview is appropriate.
  • Responding to candidates regarding status as appropriate.
  • Following up with the Field Operations Manager or Director of Operations immediately after scheduled interviews to get feedback.
  • Traveling to designated locations to conduct and lead the interview process.
  • Determining if additional interviews are required.
  • Following through with candidate and FOM/Director of Operations to ensure candidate has been scheduled for and attended a job screen day with another contractor.
  • Maintaining frequent communication with Regional Directors to understand status of candidates and likelihood of hiring.
  • Supports Organizational Efforts by:

  • Assembling the required forms, insurances and paperwork from candidates and distributing to appropriate internal contact.
  • Responding quickly to hire unplanned recruitment needs.
  • Giving timely response to requests made by team members.
  • Participating in employee recruitment as needed
  • Promoting teamwork.
  • Accomplishing related tasks or special projects as needed.

    Job Requirements


    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


    3-5 years previous recruitment experience preferred

    1099 recruiting preferred

    Proven experience in identifying candidate sourcing methods

    Skills & Abilities

    Strong behavioral interviewing skills

    Computer Skills in Microsoft Office products

    Good typing skills

    Must be able to travel extensively.
