Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is currently working with a client who is adding a Human Resources Manager to their team on a temporary to hire basis. Within this position, you will be the HR department and run the show!Within this Human Resources Manager role the responsibilities will include:
  • Performance maintenance - Define, track and manage the metrics on how employees are reviewed
  • Safety - Write, maintain, and report policies to company to avoid workplace risk and promote safe working conditions
  • Benefit Administration - Understanding of the different benefit offerings so the needs and wellness of the employees are being met
  • Compensation - Through industry & functional role research to ensure that employees are compensated fairly
  • Recognition & Bonus Program - Work with leadership to evaluate employee recognition and yearly bonus structure
  • Compliance - Maintain responsibility for compliance with federal and state legislation in all areas of Employment Law
  • HR Policies - Communicate changes to HR policies and procedures to the workforce in a timely manner and ensure handbook is updated and compliant with legal requirements
  • HRIS/Data Maintenance - Develop and maintain a human resource system (HRIS) for recordkeeping, information retrieval, and talent management

    Job Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's in HR is required
    • 5+ years of solid HR experience
    • SHRM certification preferred but not required
    • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and terminology and employee benefits - FMLA/OSHA/Workers Comp/etc.
