Looking for an energetic Logistics Support Analyst who has the ability to multitask.  This person must have strong communication skills and work well independently and in a team environment.  Areas of responsibility include tracking and reconciling the return of customer and Burroughs-owned assets, arranging for the pick-up of assets from vendors or customer sites, assisting with the system set-up of for new field technicians, reporting performance metrics.  Analysts are expected to participate in company efforts to implement continuous improvement initiatives and consolidate systems.  

Job Responsibilities:

Essential duties and examples of day to day responsibilities will include

  • Create customer billings for services provided by Burroughs’ third party logistics (3PL) providers. 
  • Monitor and manage customer-owned assets in the field and track the return status of these assets. 
  • Reconcile non-returned customer-owned assets by coordinating with Field Operations to obtain return tracking information with the goal of minimizing the part cost to Burroughs.
  • Process inventory transactions necessary to move assets between 3PLs and field technician sites.
  • Coordinate the transportation services required to move parts and equipment from one location to another.  Schedule pick-ups with carriers, complete necessary shipping paperwork and communicate status to all affected parties. 
  • Assist with training Field Operations personnel on proper part return procedures for Burroughs customers.
  • Assist with onboarding new Field Technicians including the set-up of technician inventory site IDs and FedEx Ship Manager Accounts.
  • Prepare reporting metrics for departmental key performance indicators.
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous process improvements within Supply Chain.
  • Participate in the efforts to integrate ERP systems.
  • Other related tasks as assigned.
  • Required Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in Supply Chain Operations/Logistics or operational service support preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build positive and respectful working relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Experience using advanced Excel functions and pivot tables for manipulating and analyzing data.
  • Great attention to detail with proven success implementing continuous improvement ideas.
