The primary responsibility of the Proposal and Marketing Manager is to work with internal sales members to develop standout RFP responses and new business presentations. The Proposal Manager is responsible for all RFI/RFP opportunities that require a formal response. You will work with the sales team to develop an overall strategy and approach to the response, as well as presenting the best product solutions to our Clients. The Proposal Manager's primary goal is to ensure compliance with the RFP requirements, prepare written responses, collaborate with graphic designer to produce finished RFP response, guide estimating and pricing departments in pricing/rate structure development when needed, maintain the RFP information repository (Qvidian), ensure timely submission of all customer RFP deliverables, and help create follow-up materials or responses if and when the submitted RFP response is chosen as a viable prospect solution. The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker, excellent project manager, and a superior communicator, especially via the written word. He/she will be responsible for proposal planning, writing responses to specific RFP questions, proposal and presentation production and delivery, management of assigned internal resources and consultants, proposal and presentation process improvement, and maintaining/improving the RFP answer database. Ideal candidates will have a proven record of success in managing and winning complex proposals.
