Seeking an electrical design engineer to develop the wiring, wire harness, board design for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Zuken a plus, PCAD ok, other design packages possible and cable design experience required.
You will be responsible for the design, development, evaluation and support of electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic/electrical manufacturing equipment, and other peripheral systems and electrical engineering applications.
Expert at designing machine control systems in-line with project budgets, schedules and customer requirements with input from technical project leads. Including component specification and procurement, PCB design, panel and machine wiring layouts and schematics. Maintains an understanding of current electrical standards and best practices with regard to meeting established quality, performance and safety requirements and regulatory experience with NEMA, UL, CSA, EU requirements a plus. And applicable electrical and safety design standards, e.g. NEC, NEMA, UL, CE, and NFPA 79.
Looking for someone that is knowledgeable with vacuum systems and Semiconductor equipment design. Someone who can analyze equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluate results. Understanding of strong electromagnetic interference and design methods for preventing RF interference. EMI/EMC compliance testing, signal integrity a must.
May also help review vendor capability to support product development.
Minimum Five (5) years of industry experience and CAD experience Bachelor's Degree in electrical Engineering or related study.
