Position Title:   Business / Systems Analyst - I 

Position Summary:

  1. This position will be responsible for gathering the software requirements and test the Software and systems for Tax Finance department. 
  2.  Assist in the preparation of business requirements document (BRD), test plans and the test scripts 
  3.  Prepare test data to ensure that high quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the software development life cycle 
  4.  Acts as Senior Business and systems analyst in support of large, complex, and multi functional computerized system(s); 
  5.  Work with business customers to understand requirements and develop specifications for large-sized projects - Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process - 
  6.  Reviews and analyzes a variety of forms, documents, reports, data output, and record-keeping requirement 
  7.  Ability to handle multiple assignments Superior written and oral communication skills 
  8.  Able to matrix manage, have strong project work and project planning experience. 
  9.  Perform software system testing in accordance with test scripts and Document defects 
  10.  Support Tax IT users with UAT test plans, test cases and documenting the defects 
  11.  Assist in the development of automated test suites 
  12.  Support internal and external audit compliance
  13.  Seek out continuous process efficiencies or improvements 
  14.  Exercise judgment within defined procedures and the practices to determine appropriate action 
  15.  Experience with ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, SAP and Oracle Financial systems is preferred 

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 
  2.  Five or more years of relevant experience. 
  3.  Experience with business requirements, test planning, test design, and execution of software in a multi-tier environment. 
  4.  Knowledge of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and principles. 
  5.  Experience with ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, SAP and Oracle Financial systems 
  6.  Experience with MS Team Foundation Server. 
  7.  Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. 
  8.  Experience with telecommunications industry. 
  9.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  10.  Experience requirements gathering and testing MS .Net applications using VB.Net and MS SQL Server databases is mandatory. 
  11.  Strong working knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Tax, billing, Fixed Asset, Purchasing, and General Ledger data. 
  12.  Experience working with deadlines. 
  13.  Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment. 
  14.  Experience with ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, SAP and Oracle Financial systems is preferred
