Job Description

Beauty Brands is seeking high-energy people who are passionate about the beauty industry and client service to work as an Assistant Store Manager at our Lee's Summit, Missouri location.

An Assistant Store Manager is responsible for:

  • Assist with ongoing recruiting, interviewing and hiring functions to meet store needs within 30 days.
  • Work with staff a minimum number of hours per week (as set by manager) to train and develop associates to their level.
  • Ensure resolution of customer concerns to the satisfaction of the customer and Beauty Brands.
  • Follow company policies.
  • Meet attendance, punctuality, and required work guidelines.
  • Ensure that all associates are performing receiving, store operations, breakdowns, cycle counts, physical inventory, returned merchandise, and price change procedures with accuracy.
  • Complete and submit all required operating reports, forms, and projects on time and with 100% accuracy.
  • Support an accurate inventory process.
  • Ensure proper execution of marketing plans, promotional programs, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain employee records with accuracy as outlined by Beauty Brands procedures and appropriate legislative laws.
  • Ensure that store safety and security measures are followed.
  • Follow Education guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete evaluations following company guidelines.
  • Ensure that the Best Practice Guidelines are followed:
  •         Greeting (greet client by name)
  •         Consultation (5-minute consultation with each client)
  •         Service (massage during service)
  •         Post-service (thank the client, re-book the client, offer product recommendations)
  • Attend all required meetings.
