Tech Support/Customer Service Rep Job Description:


8AM-5PM $13-$16 DOE

Company Background: This company is a multi-brand health and fitness company that was established in 2001 with a drive to help others create a healthy lifestyle. The company develops solutions to help consumers stay healthy at work, at home and the gym. They manufacture Treadmills, Elliptical Machines and other workout equipment.

Responsibilities: The Customer Service Representative will play a key role in assisting customers in inbound and outbound technical support of all workout equipment and products. This would include operating, service and repair issues and potential sales to returning customers. The Customer Service Specialist will also assist technicians in the field with questions regarding products.

In addition to these responsibilities the Customer Service Representative will need to do the following:

  • Read and fully understand product Owner s Manuals and Service Manuals
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot various technical issues that may arise with product
  • Receive inbound calls on product and assist technicians and customers over the phone
  • Review and respond to all inbound and outbound internet inquires, emails and voicemails within one business day
  • Enter call log interactions with all inquiries
  • Job Requirements

    Tech Support/Customer Service Rep Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
    • Knowledge of Microsoft based applications 
    • Ability to type quickly and accurately
    • Strong ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical Issues 
    • High stress tolerance 
    • Interpersonal skills 
    • Communication skills verbal, written and listening
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems 
    • Attention to detail and accuracy 
    • Data collection and entry
