The Associate Strategic Pricing Analyst applies deep research to uncover new insight into competitive pricing to better position Vantiv's market strategy. He/she will partner with cross-functional teams to better understand our product portfolios and acquire data from current and potential clients. The Day-to-Day

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
  • Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis.
  • Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
  • Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
  • Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
  • Utilizes knowledge of general pricing models, basic- to intermediate-level of statistic knowledge, computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Create presentations utilizing written and graphic form to effectively convey messages.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Builds stable working relationships internally.
