In the field of (Information Technology) in (Northville, MI), we are looking for you to strengthen our team as soon as possible as an (Information Security Analyst).

SUMMARY: The Information security analyst’s responsibilities will primarily be related to vulnerability management and SIEM. It will also include monitoring and management of IPS, anti-virus, malware analysis and threat management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Implement and configure vulnerability management and SIEM solutions.
  • Administer and optimize vulnerability management and SIEM system.
  • Configure and run vulnerability scans across the global enterprise and perform threat and vulnerability assessments.
  • Create remediation and/or mitigation strategies with IT SMEs and business owners to address and/or resolve business risks associated with vulnerabilities
  • Monitor security threats, analyze vulnerability assessments, and balance security with business needs.
  • Identify and resolve false positive findings based on assessment results.
  • Analyze events utilizing SIEM technology and correlating events to identify malicious behavior and activity.
  • Has overall responsibility for vulnerability management and SIEM software.
  • Provide timely and adequate response to threats/alerts/incidents, including off-hour support.
  • Continuously work to improve the quality of information security services.
  • Define, review, and enforce security policy, standards, and guidelines
  • Must be able to perform hands on tier-2 and 3 support for a wide range of security technologies
  • Supports the security infrastructure in multiple global locations.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Security Manager/Director.
  • Domestic and International Travel possible
  • EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor’s degree in information security or other related field, one to two (1-2) years of related IT security experience and/or certification; or equivalent combination of experience. 

  • 2 years of information security experience preferred.
  • Industry related certifications (Security +) strongly desired.
