The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) operates under the direction of the Brand Manager to assist in the development and daily execution of the marketing plan.  In addition, the ABM provides marketing project management assistance in the form of project management, fiscal & budget management, KPI reporting and event management/support.

  • Marketing Plan Development
  • ABM will assist the Brand Manager with the development of the annual marketing plan. The plan leverages input from Sales, customer & segment knowledge and cross functional members of the NA Marketing team, Business Development, Finance Product Management, Segment Management.
  • Plan will consist of the strategies, initiatives, tactics, budget and KPIs needed to achieve brand and sales goals.
  • Plan Execution
  • With direction from Brand Manager, the ABM will leverage internal and external resources to execute the marketing plan. Including outside Advertising agencies, Internal PR, Social, Digital & Events content specialists.  Specifics include…
  • Media Plan: Budget setting, Target Set/Approval, Media distribution (traditional vs. digital) approval, KPI set/approval.
  • Creative: Advertising, Literature, Direct Marketing, Promotions, POS.
  • Public Relations: PR articles, case studies, testimonials, content development, newsletter story development.
  • Digital (Website): Content development & on-going site maintenance.
  • Finance Promotions: Liaison with Finance counterparts to support & communicate FINCO promotions.
  • Events (Tradeshows): Plan & Manage regional tradeshows for the brand. This requires some event planning experience with contracts, site inspection, lead management, etc. to ensure correct product, messaging & literature take place at these regional shows. 
  • Reporting: Works with internal & external partners to analyze sales results against established KPIs to measure marketing program effectiveness.
  • Budget/Fiscal Management: Budget setting, forecasting and receiving of invoices with direction of Brand Manager.
  • Field Travel: ABM will travel (10-20%) to meet with customers, onsite management of creative projects, research groups & tradeshows as the marketing representative as needed.

    General Project Management

  • Manage project timelines, lead status meetings & communicate project status with brand manager.
  • Literature Database Maintenance
  • Manage all literature updates (ex. specs) and inventory levels.
  • Field RSM support
  • Act as the “go-to” resource for field sales requests of marketing assets, collateral, image files, logos, etc. Work with the Creative Services Coordinator to fulfill requests.
  • Reporting & Analysis of Leads w/Business Development, Leads team and Online Marketing Specialist
  • Competitive Sales tools
  • Develop marketing tools (literature, selling presentations, videos) that utilize product differentiators as identified by Alliance Laundry Systems Product management.

  • Job Requirements


    • At least 2-4 years of marketing project management experience (within an advertising agency or manufacturer environment)
    • Experience with B2B brands that utilize a 2 step distribution method (i.e. does not sell direct to the customer) – OR – Retail brand experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Comfort working cross functionally with people across all levels of an organization.

    • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field.

    Physical Requirements

    • Position requires up to 20% travel.
    • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
