PROMOTION Multi-Media Producer

KREM TV is looking for Promotions Multi-Media/Social Media Producer who can write, create, shoot, edit and produce interesting and impactful content for broadcast, online and social media. You will also work with our News department helping write, produce and edit daily news topical promotion for on-air and social media platforms. You must be a self-starter with strong brand management skills. You will also be part of our video production team working on other promotion projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Create, write, shoot, edit and post content for News and Promotion on multiple platforms.
  • Use the latest editing and photography tools to create content for News and station promotion.
  • Develop original promotional content through social listening and independent sources.
  • Use consumer analytics to determine content and project success.
  • Write, produce and edit daily news topical promotion for on-air and social media platforms.
  • Originate promotion and production ideas.
  • Work closely with Promotion and News team on a variety of promotion projects.
  • Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance your projects.
  • Perform other tasks as required by Marketing Director.


  • Here's what you need:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong social media skills, promoting on social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
  • Knowledge of non-linear editing using Final-Cut, Edius and Adobe Creative Suite-After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Shooting experience using DSLR and XDCam cameras.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Highly interested in broadcast and digital news content.
  • Must be comfortable working with clients, sales executives, station talent and creative marketing team.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules.
