Positions in the job family have responsibility for distribution of pharmaceutical products, activities involved in pharmacy clinical research or the management of pharmaceutical rebates. Receive pharmacy order information electronically, navigate across computer systems to obtain pharmacy order information for customer orders, check scales, verify counts, recalibrate scales as necessary, and document scale integrity verification / results. Maintain integrity of equipment (e.g., IPD machines, auto packing machines, and resolve operational problems. Scan medication, patient information / paperwork, verify information and produce and scan label. Fill dispensing units with product. Return or recall pharmaceutical products that are no longer valid. Primary Responsibilities:
Limited work experience.
Works on simple tasks using established procedures.
Depends on others for guidance.
Work is typically reviewed by others.
High School Diploma or GED
Must have a current and clear State of West Virginia Pharmacy Technician License or are a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
