Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Integrex® PET Process Engineer role will be results driven, motivated by technical challenges and has excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Integrex® PET technology. Integrex® PET technology is a leading edge proprietary process technology. This position is part of a team that supports either the licensing effort of Integrex and also the internal implementation and development of Integrex inside DAK.

This will be accomplished through the following tasks:

  • Create technical annexes and process design support.
  • Understand and improve IntegRex® process technology.
  • Run process Simulations using computer and modeling software.
  • Run actual process evaluations on existing plants and Pilot facilities.
  • Creation of process design package and coordination with engineering firms the basic engineering design package.
  • Provide support in design of critical equipment and upgrades throughout the world.
  • Coordinate process support with the licensing unit of Grupo Petrotemex.
  • Support training and startup of licensee facilities throughout the world.

  • Bachelors' Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 2 to 5 years in a chemical manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Technology or Licensing experience preferred.
  • Experience in Polyester Continuous Polymerization would be plus.
  • Experience in project capital cost estimation would be plus.
  • Experience in energy process integration would be plus.
  • Some experience using ASPEN PLUS process simulator
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis or similar problem solving skills would be an asset
  • Results oriented process driven team leader with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals and engineering documentation.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to manage and control cost.
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time in the United States and live abroad for extended periods of time (2-3 months)
  • Job Requirements
