Job Description

Randstad Professionals is seeking an Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper for a contract to hire opportunity in Duluth/Alpharetta area. This is a family owned company with about100 employees and an annual revenue $5 million. The Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper will support basic accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll for up to 100 employees. Our ideal candidate will have small company experience, Great Plains experience and have the ability to multitask and wear many hats. Our client is looking for someone with stability and longevity in their background who may be looking for more work-life balance. We will consider both Contract to Perm or Direct hire for the right candidate.


  • Maintain records of business transactions.
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Assist with Payroll, not high volume, around 100 employees only
  • Assist with month-end close, reports to Controller.

  • Requirements:

  • Great Plains experience is a plus, not required
  • 2 years' experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant
  • Small company experience is a must
  • Someone who can adapt to company processes and procedures and not want to change the way they operate
  • Great attitude, detailed & able to work independently
