Job Description

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the construction industry, is hiring a General Manager for Pioneer Restoration, located in Redmond, OR. Pioneer Restoration is a 24hr emergency fire, water and mold damage restoration company serving Central Oregon. The General Manager is responsible for directing, planning and managing overall operations, including but not limited to: quality control, quality assurances, project managers, daily operations and customer service. The General Manager will take an active role in making sure that the projects are completed with the parameters established during the estimate and approval process. This position is also responsible for assisting in maximizing return on investment, profit and loss, daily operation, planning, development and implementation of compensation and advertising functions.  This is a great opportunity for a current Project Manager within  the industry to further their career by taking this next step.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage general office profitability, implement procedures, hold key personnel accountable
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets.
  • Create, manage and execute plans to increase sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to write accurate estimates and review job profitability
  • Analyze and manage budgets
  • Locate and utilize sub-contractors
  • Ability to successfully create new business and build client relationships
  • Responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing employees, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, and developing their skills and abilities
  • Perform exit interviews
  • Conduct performance evaluation of all direct reports
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years within the restoration industry
  • Proven ability to build, motivate and maintain a high performing teams
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and internet and software Systems
  • Knowledge of Xactimate is a plus
  • Industry specific certifications are a plus
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable. Identifies own learning needs and seeks appropriate steps to continue continual self-development
  • BA/BS required or equivalent experience
