    Job Summary

    The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.



    Essential Functions

  • Responsible for QA estimates, activities and deliverables 
  • Leads Information Technology Testing efforts
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of Test Plans, Test Cases, and automated testing
  • Coordinates Systems Integration and User Acceptance test execution
  • Manage and maintain Software Development Lifecycle tools
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates
  • Responsible for environments management, and data refreshes
  • Job Requirements

    Skills and Experience

    • Must hold Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
    • Must have 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably of complex web based software products.
    • Must have 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools and testing procedures
    • Must have experience working with JIRA and Confluence
    • Familiarity with:
      • SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration Services
      • PowerShell
      • Source control with Visual Studio Team Services, SVN, and Git
      • T-SQL queries
      • Active Directory
      • IIS
      • Zephyr for JIRA
      • Microsoft .Net C# and JAVA development
      • SDLC, Quality Standards, and Best Practices
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, with both technical and non-technical team members
