Job Description ***This role is remote, meaning that the incumbent will work from home.  In addition, it entails 10% travel, which will be nationwide (anywhere within the 48 contiguous states) and could be overnight.***

General Summary:

Implementation engineering position is responsible for installing and maintaining Mitel UcaaS cloud solution and working with infrastructure to support, test, verify, and release new feature changes to the customer Mitel infrastructure. In addition, the implementation position will provide guidance and support for various Mitel Day 2 support issues and will interface

with customers, partners, and internal Windstream support teams.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support for new product releases and installations, and if necessary, execute product upgrades in the infrastructure.

- Systems support, integration, testing and product release of the Windstream UcaaS products including, collaborating with partner companies to support solutions and features, executing test plans, working with internal teams to test facilities for product certifications, and help manage the Windstream product development lab/sandbox environments.

- Communicates with direct report regards to technical discussions and systems maintenance and optimization.

- Resolving support issues as a result of escalation from the Windstream Mitel Day 2 support and other support teams.

- Coordinating partner and vendor logistics when necessary for data center site support efforts

- Help with monitoring the health of the system environment

- Help with managing the server product configurations and releases

- Support transition of all product initiatives to the implementation and Day 2 support teams

• Development of internal processes to be conformant with corporate best practices

Preferred Experience:

• CCNA and Mitel Core Certifications (vMBG/vMCD/vMAS)

• Additional Certifications with Mitel Contact Center and IVR/Call Recording

• Experience with Mitel’s full collaboration Suite including MiCollab Desktop/Mobility and AWS

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Mitel server configurations, product support, systems integration and supporting product solutions.

• Systems experience with Microsoft, VMWare, HP, and Cisco networks. In addition, Active Directory, DNS, MSSQL, MySQL, PHP, and Linux Red Hat OS recommended.

• Experience supporting converged networks, IP networking/telephony, security solutions, and virtual environment.

• Hands-on experience configuring Mitel Systems including MiVB, Oria, MiCollab, MBG, and MSL• A current understanding of the methods and practices associated with the product development life cycle and product qualification testing

• Demonstrated interpersonal and strong communication skills with emphasis on the capability to work with customers

• Demonstrated ability to work alone or with a group with limited supervision

Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements:   Associate's Degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years technical/telephony experience with 5+ years directly related to the job; or 8+ years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience required.
