Position Summary

We’re excited to recruit for a Temporary Research Associate on our Platform Development - Assay Integration Team.   This position will execute a range of data analysis techniques, molecular biology procedures, reagent preparation, and bioanalytical procedures and laboratory duties.   

This position is responsible for the following areas:

  • Assist in the planning & design of experiments
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and supplies
  • Independently conduct scientific experiments
  • Identify and solve problems in experimental designs
  • Assist in protocol design for routine use; suggests improvements
  • Advise supervisor of factors that may affect experiment; suggests additional experiments
  • Assist in data analysis and interpretation of results
  • Participate on project and troubleshooting teams
  •  Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular biology or related field
  • 1 - 5 years Molecular Biology or Biochemistry laboratory experience post B.S. degree
  • Ability to read, write and analyze complex documents
  • Strong problem-solving, judgment and decision making skills are required
  • Thorough knowledge of experimental design is required
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Must be able to think and work both tactically and strategically
