Deliver orders from the warehouse to the bar outlets and restaurants.
Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines and non-alcoholic selections available.
Assist Bartenders on the execution of service and follow the Bartender’s direction.
Wash glasses to ensure bar is fully stocked.
Mop floors as necessary to ensure a clean, safe work area.
Respond to Bartenders’ needs by running for liquor, glassware, stock, etc.
Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
Properly use two-way radio, knives and pallet jacks.
Greet guests upon arrival and departure, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return.
Effectively communicate with management, bartenders and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
Maintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
Perform all other job related duties as requested.

Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
At least 1 year of previous experience as a Bar Porter.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
