Job Description

Odyssey Commercial Interiors is a rapidly growing installation company of cubicles and office furniture from top companies such as Trendway, Teknion, Hon, Global and more. We value dedication and hard work, and a professional, friendly team atmosphere. We specialize in Commercial Office Furniture delivery, assembly, and installation. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage multifaceted projects with direct installers and laborers to ensure timely job completion, high quality of work and customer satisfaction.
  • Warehouse duties, including stocking, cleaning, organizing, and assembly of merchandise
  • Supervise the loading of delivery trucks, drive and unload trucks at installation sites with other installers, ensuring no damage to furniture, and safety of all those involved.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to effectively supervise a crew of installers. Must be able to train and mentor installers.
  • Interact directly with Customers to include Project Managers, end user, and individuals at installation sites, maintaining a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor, enhancing the experience of those involved.
  • Provide quality control by ensuring that all products are installed correctly per floor plans and that all required components (e.g. electrical, locks, overhead etc.) are in place and functional prior to customer walkthrough.
  • Understand blueprints and be knowledgeable in both the use of various work tools including circular saws, jig saws, routers, sanders, and hammer drills.
  • Interact daily with office staff, to include Project Manager and Office Manager, on job status, invoicing questions, move add change requests and service forms.

  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 3 years experience installing cubicles and commercial office furniture, and at least 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Must have working knowledge and proficient in installation of demountable floor to ceiling wall systems
  • Must have a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic, and be able to work well in Professional office environment, as well as warehouse and construction environments.
  • Must have a valid Driver s License with a good driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs repeatedly
