.Superior Group is looking for Program Cost Schedule Analyst 5 for our Client located in Huntsville, AL
The Program Cost Schedule Control analyst is needed to monitor, evaluate, analyze and report on the financial performance of the assigned program.
Reports directly to the Program Finance Manager, but has accountability to the appropriate General Manager and other program staff.
Position has extensive contact with individuals inside and outside the organization.
Responsible for reporting on the financial health of a significant position of the Division's diverse program portfolio
Assist in the management of the financial performance of the program in accordance with contract terms and conditions
Review and prepares pricing data in support of customer RFP's
Assist in the develop program budgets and forecasts
Develop work break down structures and assists in preparing CDRL's, if necessary
Responsible for the execution and control of program EAC's
Prepare financial analyses of operations (e.g. labor/headcount tracking) for guidance of management
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis for both program management and for consolidation into monthly and quarterly program reviews
Ensure program is adequately funded and helps coordinate customer billings
.Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
Minimum 8 years of accounting and financial analysis experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Aerospace and Defense/Government Contract Accounting
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Master’s Degree with 6 years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Strong analytical skills - Data Analysis, Pricing, Planning and Program Controls
Proficient in MS Office and SAP (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills required)
Experience with Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements
Hands-on, self-starter with ability to multi-task and work effectively across departments and with internal and external customers
Team player with ability to influence and motivate others to support and optimize program financial performance
Strong communication skills - both written and oral
