Job Description .Superior Group is looking for Program Cost Schedule Analyst 5 for our Client located in Huntsville, AL
  • The Program Cost Schedule Control analyst is needed to monitor, evaluate, analyze and report on the financial performance of the assigned program.
  • Reports directly to the Program Finance Manager, but has accountability to the appropriate General Manager and other program staff.
  • Position has extensive contact with individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Responsible for reporting on the financial health of a significant position of the Division's diverse program portfolio
  • Assist in the management of the financial performance of the program in accordance with contract terms and conditions
  • Review and prepares pricing data in support of customer RFP's
  • Assist in the develop program budgets and forecasts
  • Develop work break down structures and assists in preparing CDRL's, if necessary
  • Responsible for the execution and control of program EAC's
  • Prepare financial analyses of operations (e.g. labor/headcount tracking) for guidance of management
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis for both program management and for consolidation into monthly and quarterly program reviews
  • Ensure program is adequately funded and helps coordinate customer billings
  • Job Requirements.Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Minimum 8 years of accounting and financial analysis experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Aerospace and Defense/Government Contract Accounting
  • Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree with 6 years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Strong analytical skills - Data Analysis, Pricing, Planning and Program Controls
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills required)
  • Experience with Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Hands-on, self-starter with ability to multi-task and work effectively across departments and with internal and external customers
  • Team player with ability to influence and motivate others to support and optimize program financial performance
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral
