Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking a Java Middleware Developer in Wilmington, Delaware (DE).Summary:As an Applications Developer, the ideal candidate will develop and test mission-critical enterprise applications that meet the needs of the business. The candidate will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing break-fix solutions and enhancements for applications within new and mature technology environments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements
  • Utilize excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Job Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience including, but not limited to, mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills
    • 1+ years of JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax/Angular, Java, 1.7 and 1.8
    • Minimum of three years of work experience in the following areas: Object Oriented analysis and design, Design patterns, Database and Internet technologies, Web Service (Soap/Rest Based) Development and XML
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with the following development and build tools (or similar): Eclipse, Jenkins/Maven, Subversion/Git, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Spring Batch, Spring Boot and a Spring Cloud
    • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in UNIX Shell Scripts, Oracle Database/Stored Procedure, Cassandra or NoSQL
    • Working knowledge of web services technology and SOA practices
    • Familiarity with Agile concepts and tools
    • Banking or Financial Services experience with real-time systems
    • Experience with offshore or offsite models
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Good communication skills
