Job Description

Decker Truck Line, Inc. is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Assistant Shop Manager/Parts Manager at our Davenport terminal!


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, including: working with customers and vendors, schedule service, create work orders, schedule and train technicians, quality assurance on completed work in the shop, warranty/accident claims, assure all DOT, OSHA, DNR, Federal, and State regulations are followed and adhered to, inventory of company satellite equipment
  • Parts inventory, ordering and issuing parts, processing work orders, reconciling parts inventory to database
  • Hiring for 2nd shift! 1pm-11pm Monday-Friday
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements 


    • Shop supervisor experience required
    • Previous inventory control background helpful
    • Requires good data entry skills
    • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Post job offer physical and drug screen required
