This is an office based role in Juneau, AK.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is dedicated to the State of Alaska in support of their members. The person that fills this role will perform special projects related to implementation, plan administration, wellness coordination, open enrollment activities, benefit fairs, member educations, research and escalated issues. The primary function of this role is to perform customer service for the members on a daily basis, to include phone meetings as well as face to face interaction.

Fundamental components include but are not limited to:
-Qualifying Requests Cultivate critical relationships(field sales)
-Assess customer needs and expectations vs. Health capabilities/strategy
-Determine exceptions and resource commitments
-Negotiate appropriate Aetna response.
-Claim evaluation Expense calculation
-Training of other employees

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
-Strong time management skills are necessary
-Some Industry Experience is preferred
-Claims Processing Experience is preferred
-Customer Service Experience is required
-Excellent Communication Skills are required
-Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required

EDUCATION
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
