Our Dover, New Jersey Casting Operation has an immediate need for a Weekend Evening Shift (10:30 PM – 10:30 AM Fri/Sat/Sun) Four Step Wax Work Cell Operator in our Wax Assembly department.

This is a Midnight Weekend Shift Position, shift starts on Friday evenings.

  • Shift is for a 36-hour workweek, paid as 40 hrs.
  • Training will take place on Day Shift M-Fri before moving to weekend shift.

  • POSITION OVERVIEW
    This job assists in the set up and creation of wax molds.

    ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
  • Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
  • Report any safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Attend all EHS training.


  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Adapt and perform various manufacturing tasks to support schedules. Duties include:
  • Wax Injection
  • Wax Inspection
  • Wax Setup (assembly)
  • Core Prep
  • Wax Pattern Dimensional Inspection *May include CMM
  • Wax Pattern Inspection using Non-Destructive Ultrasonic Measurement Equipment.
  • Set-up, Operation, Viewing and Interpretation of Wax X-rays.
  • Wax Pattern Engraving
  • Performing Cell Support Duties
  • Must be able to do Hand pinning operation
  • Job can include variety of assignments and may be assigned by supervision.

    Basic Qualifications
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’)

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Must pass visual accuracy test after on-the-job training.

  • Ability to perform highly detailed and highly repetitive work
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to detect defects in complex core configurations and follow x-ray techniques from job instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of keyboard data entry for the Nanoscope.
  • Ability to clearly communicate problems.
