Lead position responsible for identifying and resolving issues that impact Windstream’s Enterprise Margin using comprehensive investigative techniques and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Responsible for proactively researching issues/processes that have significant negative impact on margin to determine root cause and work with associated groups to resolve issues.
Apply knowledge of provisioning, network design, access expense and consumer billing to investigate and resolve margin issues.
Interact cooperatively with internal partner organizations including Sales, Service Delivery, Carrier Access, Engineering, IT, Regulatory and Finance.
Develop and produce executive level reporting to highlight financial and process improvement impacts of group activities.
Four or more years work experience in retail billing and/or expense management.
Substantial Metasolve/ASAP work experience that includes understanding circuit design and hierarchy including on and off-net billing and cost components.
Proven ability to effectively investigate issues to determine root cause, identify solutions and work with stakeholders to implement corrective action.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making capabilities.
Effective Interpersonal skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to work under pressure, support multiple assignments, with strong attention to detail.
Strong ability to adjust communication and presentation of issues and resolutions to targeted audience.
Strong understanding of cost and billing elements of end user voice and data products.
Strong SQL experience using PL/SQL Developer, Golden, Aginity, TOAD or other SQL tool.
Experience with WinCare, Windstream Online, and CAT for researching issues.
Metasolve Network Inventory and Provisioning system (M6/NextGen MSS, VoxM5).
Experience with Windstream’s RevChain and CAMS billing systems.
Advanced MS Office knowledge including strong database skills.
College degree (technical field preferred) and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
