Job Description Grade:

POSITION SUMMARY:

To maintain Beau Rivage Hotel Tower in various maintenance aspects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

  • Maintains hotel guest rooms and corridors, lighting, BOH areas & FOH area.

  • Repairs plumbing and associated equipment i.e., toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains, shower cartridge replacement.

  • Repairs HVAC units, programs thermostats, replaces filters as needed.

  • Occasionally removes trash and debris from Hotel Tower and transfers to outdoor receptacles.

  • Additional job duties as determined by management

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma of equivalent and four years of trade or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Valid Driver’s License

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of all materials and color schemes – distinguishing colors.
  • Knowledge of all paints and special coatings.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, air conditioning, electrical systems, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Ability to read blueprints and computer printouts.
  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills and very detail oriented.
  • PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, sitting, listening, using computer, telephone, and speaking.
  • Frequently balancing, reaching, stooping, bending, crawling, kneeling and twisting.
  • Frequently walking distances up to 1000 ft., between departments and casino floor.
  • Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing.
  • Frequently carrying, pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work performed indoors and outdoors, Employee may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, and hot and cold temperatures. Employee will be required to stand on concrete floors and to occasionally walk on uneven or wet Employee may be exposed to secondhand smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

    Regular scheduled hours. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.
