  • Summary of Responsibilities:

  • The main duties include performing assays with analysis of results to ensure that accuracy, precision, reportable range, reference interval, analytical sensitivity, specificity and statistically sound data is produced.
  • Will also participate in the planning of robotic systems to transition protocols from manual to automated systems.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 5 years working in an Industry setting performing biologic assays for characterization of proteins. Experience with ELISA, PCR, Westerns, protein measurement by BCA, spectrometry.
  • Very strong statistical skills.
  • Clear, concise writing skills needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience with implementation of automated systems for assays is a plus
  • Efficient, flexible and self-motivated work ethic; to be utilized in planning, executing, and analyzing assay development activities
  • Innovative technical and analytical skills required to perform research at the highest level
  • Highly motivated and independent, yet has successfully worked in a group setting
  • Passionate about performing scientific research and translating it to improve human health
